I have to say, one of my favorite parts about this business is the personal connections I make and the people I get to reconnect with <3 I have know Jessica since middle school? And because of the wonderful world of social media we got to reconnect and when she found out she was pregnant. She had asked me to do their pictures. Its always an honor to be asked & their session went perfectly! 

It was a freezing & windy day in March on Long Island but these 2 were troopers!  No complaints, and didn't even need their jackets. There was a perfect amount of snow on the ground to make the background even more perfect  <3 

This little girl is SO so loved & doesn't even know it yet <3  Your mommy and daddy are anxiously waiting your arrival!

'A day in the life of'

So often we get caught  up in the 'perfect' outfit, the 'perfect' hair, the 'perfect' location, the 'perfect' smiles.... that we FORGET our perfect is right in our home.  When the giggles are real, the tears are fake, the smiles are from cheek to cheek & the love is always there <3 

When I started photography as a business -I wanted to freeze time, to help families collect memories. Children grow so fast, parents and grandparents grow old and quite frankly tomorrow is not promised. I want my photography to tell a story.  As i edit images, after each session I can feel the love that each person has, I can hear the giggles of that baby or child all over again. To me that is what photography is. Telling a story  <3 With this new addition to my services I want to tell a story, not just any story. YOUR story <3 

And Last Saturday I had the great pleasure of spending the morning with the Buonome family & I felt so welcomed into their home. <3

Perfect is saturday morning breakfast and jammies until 9am

Our perfect is sometimes the moments we don't always see as perfect...the moments we will miss when the time passes.

Let me tell ya, Grayson & Carter are 2 of the cutest 3 year olds.  They have amazing personalties & such a bond you can just feel it when you are around them <3 They can for sure keep you laughing! 

I had such a blast hanging with Ali, Greg, Grayson, Carter & Bella oh and of course Batman, Superman, The Hulk and wonder woman <3 Thank you all for such a warm welcome into your home & I look forward to the next time!

Wow, 2017 is here! That went by so quick and what a year its been! I want to take a moment to THANK ALL MY WONDERFUL clients, family & friends. Without you all, ANP wouldn't be what it is <3 I appreciate all of the referrals, the shares, the shout outs; all of it means more than you can ever know.

2016 was filled with lots of amazing milestones and I was honored to be part of those! I look forward to 2017 and all that is too come. <3

For the winter months and colder spring days,  I now have a traveling studio- I will be offering Valentines Day Mini sessions & indoor 'studio' sessions for kiddos newborn-5 years old.  The Valentines day mini sessions will be offered between January 28th-Febuary 11th. On top of that exciting news -I am now also adding documentry sessions which I am starting this month & I cannot wait to work with some awesome families.  Some may be thinking what is a Documentary session or I like to call it {{ A day in the life of }} Well its when I come to your house usually after wake up time and spend a few hours documenting your families day. I want it all. The real & raw.  I want to see the craziness during breakfast time, play time, snuggles, an adventure outside maybe?, baking, brushing teeth, bath time..etc. All of it! And its something you don't have to be all prepped for. No makeup ? No problem! I want to capture you & your family JUST THE WAY you are. Since Im just starting this adventure I'm still looking for some families to volunteer! If you are interested please email me <3

I plan for it to go 'live' with the {{ A day in the life of }} to outsiders by March. So if you know anyone that would be interested you can send them my  way.

Can you believe its FLYING by?! I swear it was just the 1st of October!  The leaves are looking gorgeous and my fall sessions have been full of color! I only have a few dates/times left this month if you want to get some photos in before the leaves are gone!

Long Island I will be there the 29th, and only have 1 SPOT open if you are interested! Otherwise Ill be back in November for Holiday Mini Sessions!

Holiday Mini Sessions!

Yes, its time to talk about it... because lets face it! November comes and goes QUICK and before we know it, its the run around to get ready for the holidays!  Lots of past clients have asked already about dates & I am finalizing those dates. The way it will work- will be there will be ONE weekend I will be doing all mini sessions and maybe 2 other options for week days/evenings.  I am thinking November 11th, 12th and the 13th. This way its way before Thanksgiving & I will also have card package options as well, this way all you will have to do is stamp them up and mail them out!

Long Island- Stay tuned as I plan dates for you!

 I am also thinking and working on Santa pictures! It will work like my mini sessions, but with Santa ( that will be in December so stay tuned for details! )

I have more in the works for the winter months, a studio space (YES!) and and more!  Anyway, lets try not to rush it- LETS just enjoy these beautiful colors, crisp air and Halloween candy! Don't forget to email me asap if you want a fall session and if you are ready to book a Holiday Mini Session, email that too! I will be emailing you all with the finalized dates for that in the upcoming week.  ( but I love early bookers! )

I LOVE nothing more than growing with my clients! The first time I met Jenn & her kiddos, Callie was only a month old. Now she is a little over a year old! She wants to keep up with her 2 adorable older brother. 

These littles are just the cutest, full of personality & never shy!! From the moment I get there; I always get greeted by them, excited to be their silly selves.

Aubrie

I always tell people that children are the BOSS on photo shoots. We may have an idea of what we want the picture to look like; but they may not have the same idea so the best thing is to just go with it! Be silly, quack, make animal noises and just know that you will capture their personality. Aubrie was the sweetest little 3 year old. She played shy, but in all reality she wasn't-she just wanted to let you think she was! 

Aubrie has the sweetest parents; you can see the love they have for each other and it shines through Aubrie <3

John turns 1

Eeeeek. A few months back Salina reached out to me for me to do a photo shoot of her handsome little guy, without even thinking about it of course I said yes! We had a great little session and John was perfect!! Well flash forward he turns ONE soon and of course I was back capturing those precious moments! John is a trooper through outfit changes and all! 

I swear this guy never fusses, okay ONCE but he just really wanted a stick.... 

Than CAME the cake... HE LOVED it.

Chloe, Class of 2017

I absolutely LOVE when I get to photograph seniors. It takes me back to amazing year in my life- You feel like you are on top of the world. You're the oldest in the high school,  you & most of your friends drive so its freedom everywhere. Parents are usually a little better about curfews and its just a great time to enjoy with friends, work and prepare yourself for a new chapter! 

Chloe and I had a wonderful time together. She was a natural and willing to try anything! Which I LOVE! 

Chloe, THANK you for an amazing session and being such an amazing person to work with! I wish you all the BEST of luck this year + beyond. <3 xo

Guyette Family

Whenever I have a new client, LOTS of emotions go through me. Excitement for 1,  and of course a little nervous. I always double, triple check my things before I leave the house for a session. I usually have a little plan in my head of what I want to do, but with kids- I let them be the boss, because lets face it- they are!   Jenn contacted me a few months back to come do a session of her and her 2 little boys and her new baby girl! When I got to her house I was greeted by the 2 MOST adorable, outgoing little boys welcoming me into their home, introducing me to their new little sister and of course asking me to play trains with them right away!

6 Months later, I was back and its incredible how much they grow! Callie is practically ready to run around with her brothers and the boys are just as cute as ever! 

Motherhood to me is just an incredible JOB, yes its a job. You are a Chef, a Maid, a Cook, a Nurse, Taxi Driver, The incredible Hulk HAHA, and you don't have any sick days or personal time.

And Jenn you are a gorgeous Momma, the way your babes look at you SHOWS how amazing you are <3

I have known Salina & John for a long time... so when Salina asked to come spend some time with them, meet little John & photograph the family. Why would I ever say no? <3 

That face! The smile! Those eyelashes!

John was such a happy & sweet little boy and after 3 outfit changes he was still a trooper! 

There is NO doubt in my mind that this little boy is LOVED & he loves RIGHT back. The smile he gave when he saw his daddy walk in the door from work was priceless! <3

I remember one of my first times meeting Lindsay... it was about 12 years ago. WOW. That is scary itself... Well anyway. We were kids, working at Friendlys. With NOTHING in our lives to worry about other than what we were doing on a friday night after work. Here we are many years later- She's married with 2 adorable sweet little ones <3 and Im so glad to have been able to capture her new addition Bennett! 

I can tell you I STILL remember the day Lindsay told me she was pregnant with Jamie. It was a morning at Friendlys, we were opening- she was cooking. Now Jamie is sweet as can be, smart and such an amazing BIG sister!

2015 {{ year in review }}

WOW!! Is all I can say about this year. My 1st official professional photography year is wrapping up ( lets face it I was born a photographer ;) ) .  Amanda Nicole Photography started out as a "one day" thing to me many years ago, and in one year that DREAM is turning into reality <3  Ive met so many amazing people through this year who have left a TRUE impact on me. 

When I go out and meet you at your session, spend that time with you-- I get to know you. I get to see what makes you laugh, how much love there is.. Its a moment I get to capture behind the lens & I cherish every second. 

I honestly couldn't have done it and gotten to where I am without all of you. So from the bottom of my heart I thank all of you<3

 

I have learned & grown so much in the last year... I still have so much to learn & grow.. but Id say my 1st year was pretty successful. I look forward to 2016-- because I have some pretty BIG things up my sleeve.

Brooke turns { 5 } | Connecticut Family Photographer

Stefanie asked me to take some pictures of her adorable daughter Brooke & what better day to do it then on her 5th birthday? Brooke is filled with smiles, and love. I brought balloons for her session & she couldn't be happier. 

The BEST part of the entire session was when I asked Brooke HOW much she loved her Mommy she said " hold my balloons please, I need all my arms and the room I can get to show you " <3

I love when past clients invite back into their home for some more pictures! Always enjoy seeing how much the kids have grown especially within the first year! When I first met Kevin he was only a month old. I was able to see him again a few months later & he is just as sweet as can be. So are his parents ;) So I guess thats where he gets it from! <3

Cable Family | Connecticut Family Photographer

I met Nicole, Dave, Aidan & Emma on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Loved them immediately. Such sweet, loving, easy going people! I know taking pictures can be awkward, not fun {for some} but this family were troopers & the love they had for each other was easily shown! 

Emma was such born a star! This little girl took any chance to make sure she was on the camera- she was loving it & such a sweet personality. Truly loves her parents & big brother. She told me she was sending me a Christmas card & that I was one of them now...I think that means we became best friends? ;) Bless her heart <3 

Aidan loved the fact that he was taller than his Mom! He wanted to make sure everyone knew it! What a sweet boy Aidan was-he may not have loved the camera as much as Emma but he sure loves his sister & parents! Thanks Aidan for being such a trooper!!

Of course no session is complete without a photo bomb!

Lathrop Family 2015 | Connecticut Family Photographer

Its actually funny how I met Megan. Life is funny, and you just never know who you will meet & who you will befriend. I met Megan a little over a year ago now VIA good ole' social media. We instantly connected and grew closer as time went on. I talk to Megan more than 1x a week and have gotten to know her family as well. They all are full of love and humor, down to earth and just fun people to be around! On Sunday I was able to capture some fun loving moments for her, the hubby and their full of life, personality and beautiful daughter Hailey! 

Hailey is FULL of personality and she is such a little HAM. As soon as that camera was anywhere near here she immediately put a big adorable smile on her face! 

She is so loved by her parents and you can tell she is the center of their world.

Of course I can't leave this without a post from the adorable couple that started it all <3

One of my favorite things in the world is when a past client contacts me to do another session. Just a few months ago Brittanee & Steve contacted me to do a Maternity session while they waited for the arrival of their sweet little girl Dylan.

Dylan is such a sweet baby. With her beautiful red hair & adorable little smile. It was a pleasure spending that time with her. 

She is so very loved by her sweet parents. Every picture I took I can feel the love, I can see it on their faces. She completed them. 

When we did the Maternity session we took a picture similar to this one, so of course we had to re-do it with sweet little Dylans feet. <3 

And of course NO good session with a baby doesn't end without baby spit up!  Parenthood- Wiping your baby spit up and acting like a trooper so we can finish up with one more shot!

October is wrapping up and I want to give you all some updates for November!!
First I want to say thank you ALL who allowed me to part of your lives this month! It was great getting to know you all. XO.
